Michael Elam's Pennywhistle is a collection of songs that have been "works in progress" for over a decade. Some dating back to as early as 1993 and some that were inspired by the loss of close friends. The concept is the actualization of continued progression and movement beyond the creative process.
The overall work of this album falls somewhere between 'Radiohead' and the 'Black Crowes' with a subtle dose of alt-country. This album displays a unique blend of acoustic and synth based elements to ultimately deliver the atmospheric tales of a rust belt troubadour.

A collection of dark ambient, synth driven pieces that are focused on the transitions from earthly to spiritual states while drawing inspiration from the concept of the grave as an agent of transcendence.
MONO ON THE SIDE
